Why Etana

Built on trust, carried by family.

The finest safaris are built on trust, enduring relationships and a knowledge of Africa earned over a lifetime.

Four decades of trust

In 1985 Feeroz Jagani founded Safari Travel in Nairobi to welcome every guest as a friend. Etana is the next chapter of that family legacy, and the same trust travels with you.

In the owner's own hands

Every Etana journey has the personal attention of Arefa Jagani in Nairobi. Her concierge care and eye for detail follow you from the first welcome to the last farewell.

Individually crafted

No two Etana safaris are alike. Each is crafted from the first conversation around who you are, how you like to travel and what you hope to feel.

Our story

A family legacy, carried forward.

Feeroz Jagani founded Safari Travel with a simple philosophy: welcome every guest as a friend, and reveal Africa with authenticity, integrity and genuine hospitality. The name is new. The philosophy remains.
