01 · The Maasai Mara · 3 nights
Big skies, at a gentle pace.
- Day 1
Into the Mara.
A private transfer to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, then a light aircraft flight of about 45 minutes over the Great Rift Valley to an airstrip near your camp. Settle in, then an afternoon game drive at the children’s pace, ending with sundowners on the plains.
- Day 2
The heart of the Mara.
Coffee and hot chocolate before sunrise, then out while the big cats are still active. Breakfast in the bush, lunch back at camp, and a quiet afternoon: junior ranger activities for the children, and the pool, the spa or a book on the deck for the adults, depending on your camp.
- Day 3
Your choice.
A full day on the plains with a picnic, following the game wherever it moves, or a slower morning and a visit to a Maasai village. Dinner out under the stars, with a menu for the children.
