About Swahili Beach Resort.

Swahili Beach Resort is on Diani Beach, about 30 km south of Mombasa, built in a mix of Arabian and modern styles. Its pools step down through the gardens towards the ocean.

It is a good place to rest after a safari, with snorkelling and diving from the water sports centre, a seafront spa with its own cove, and restaurants serving Swahili, Indian and seafood dishes.

When to go

The resort through the year.

January to March, July to October

Between the two rainy seasons. Kenya Wildlife Service describes the coast as generally warm and humid.

April to June

The long rains. On the south coast they usually begin in April and peak in May.

November and December

The short rains, usually from late November to late December, with some showers in October.
