About the hotel

A small hotel on Diani Beach.

The Maji is a boutique hotel on a quieter stretch of Diani Beach, in what was once a family home. With only fifteen rooms and suites, it feels more like staying in a private beach house than a resort. Etana works with the hotel and can include it in a journey you plan with us.

Every room is designed differently, with driftwood, Swahili antiques and modern African paintings. Garden rooms open onto the lawns, while the ocean rooms and suites, some on the first floor, look out to sea; the Jacuzzi Suite has its own hot tub on the terrace. There is a pool in the garden by the beach, the Moringa Spa, and meals in the Dining Room whenever you like.
