The destination
Between the park and the mountain.
The Elerai Conservation Area lies between Amboseli National Park and Kilimanjaro, on land used by elephants moving between the two.
It was set up in the mid-2000s by local Maasai residents with a private lodge investor and the African Wildlife Foundation, and Satao Elerai is the camp here. The national park is a short game drive away.
