About the camp

About Severin Safari Camp.

Severin Safari Camp is open all year in Tsavo West National Park. With no fences, elephants and other animals often pass through camp, and the waterhole is good for evening viewing. Kilimanjaro rises across the plains.

There are tents, family-sized junior suites and two executive suites, plus a spa, gym and pool.

July to March

Kenya Wildlife Service calls this the high season and the best time for wildlife viewing, with sunny weather and shorter grass.

April to June

KWS says the long rains arrive in these months, and many park roads may need a four-wheel-drive vehicle.
