About Ol Pejeta Bush Camp.

Ol Pejeta Bush Camp stands on wooden decks beside the Ewaso Nyiro River, with Mount Kenya in view. Ol Pejeta is home to the last two northern white rhinos.

Game drives twice a day, night drives and walks (from age 16) are included. Lion tracking, horse riding and a visit to the conservancy's anti-poaching dog unit can be added. The camp runs mostly on solar power.

When to go

The camp through the year.

July to March

The high season in KWS guidance for Kenya's parks, when shorter grass can make wildlife easier to see. Sightings are never guaranteed.

April to June

The long rains. KWS says most park roads may need four-wheel drive at this time.

All year

KWS describes Kenya's central highlands as cool and the north as hot and dry, so pack for warm days and cool evenings.
