About the camp

About Soroi Larsens Camp.

Soroi Larsens Camp is unfenced, on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, and every tent has its own terrace over the water.

Game drives run twice a day, and walks with an armed ranger take place outside the reserve. Samburu village visits, bird walks and bush dinners can be added. The two deluxe suites have outdoor showers and a deck for sleeping under the stars.

When to go

The camp through the year.

December to March

A high season for wildlife viewing in KWS guidance. KWS describes the north of Kenya as hot and dry.

April to June

The long rains. KWS says park roads may need four-wheel drive.

July to December

The other high season in KWS guidance, when wildlife is easier to see. Sightings are never guaranteed.
